But an egg is an egg, what's the fuss all about?
Happy Hens are Healthy Hens. Multiple studies have shown that stress in hens change the hormone composition of their eggs and chicks become more fearful, less competitive and smaller. Stress also directly impacts the nutritional value of the egg, hence commercially raised flocks have shown to produce inferior quality of eggs.
We suggest you to read following article by poultryworld (click here) and this research paper published on US National Library of Medicine National Institutes of Health (click here).
Our Eggs are 100% Free-Range, our hens have freedom to roam around and grow in a lush green, pollution free environment.
Our Hens are fed a high nutrition, organic diet, free from any antibiotics and adulterations.
Why is your egg so expensive!
A Kadaknath bird starts laying eggs when she is 20-21 weeks old (read here), and lays around 80-100 eggs in a year, now compare that with the Layer breed which starts laying eggs at 18-19 weeks and lays around 295 eggs in a year (read here), that's 3 times!!
Identifying Layer hen actually as a genetically bred, egg laying machine to mint profit shall not be an overstatement, unfortunately that is what is commercially available in our stores/your nearby grocery shop.
We do not sell our birds (yes not even males) for meat! Yes you read it correct, when an egg is hatched it has 50% probability of turning out to be a male or female, the identification is only possible until much later when the chicks have grown up, but we give all of them a dignified and healthy life. You can be lest assured that while consuming our eggs no animals were harmed even indirectly, let alone directly.
As for you who think egg is inherently non-veg and by consuming it you are already killing a life, then please be informed that our eggs are infertile eggs that are non-living, so you can relish our products with no guilt. (read more here)
Going by the above points if you compare us with the commercially available brown eggs and their cost per unit, you shall realize that we are actually offering a very fair deal, we are only striving to provide you with the healthiest possible offering in the domain of poultry and that to at the best price.
